I love jazz music. Many years ago an old boyfriend introduced me to jaaz and, since that moment, I profess an deep love for this music.
Many women played and continue to play a great role in jazz.
Amongst the most important jazz women singers I'd like to name: Billie Holiday, Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerlad, Carla Bley, Sarah Vaugn, Diana Kroll, Tiziana Ghiglioni and Maria Pia de Vito.
I like R&B song. So I will introduce my favorite musician. His name is NE-YO. he is American R&B singer. He was born on Oct 18, 1982. HIs famous songs are So-sick and Because of you. My favorite song is Because of you.

Billie Holiday was born in 1915. She has been among the best jazz and blues singers of all times.
She was called "Lady Day" and she was one of the first black women to work with a white orchestra.
Her voice was unique and she has an important interpretative and emotional ability.
One of her most famous songs is "Strange Fruit"; this song was in the forties a himn of the protest for the civil rights.
