I went to the cannon army. There were many hard kind of training in my army. When I saw a cannon at first time, I was very marvelous and nervous. We usually use the cannon in the training. I needed a lot of power. Those were very hard. So I did exercise very hard and ate too much. But I enjoyed the life of my army. That was good experience and helpful for me.
Thanksgiving. Same English pilgrims escaped from their homeland because they couldn’t practice their religion and they decided to embark on a ship called “Mayflower” together with one hundred and one passengers towards America. After a hard and long travel they arrived and settled in Plymouth, in the actual Massachusetts. During the first winter a lot of colonist died but when the spring came the Native Americans showed them how to seed. At the end of the summer, they gave thanks for the harvest and celebrated a big festival. That festival was the first Thanksgiving Day: was in 1621. In 1789 president George Washington declared the last Thursday of November as a National Day. (Written in Spanish by Niccoló Santana Usai. Translation by Luisa Usai Fiori).
